CAN you help solve the mystery of this 40-year-old tennis tournament?
These pictures were taken at what was described as "A highly successful Dorset Open Junior Tennis Championships."
The event, which consisted of youngsters taking tennis titles, took place on August 19, 1983, at East Dorset Club.
The only other information we have about the event is a caption with the following picture:
"Pictured are the five who won trophies (left to right): Oliver Stanley who shared a 14-and-under boys doubles title; Nigel Russell, the 14-and-under boys singles winner; Colette Hall, 10-and-under girl champion; Frances Couldridge who won two titles - the 21-and-under and 16-and-under girls; and Giles Gibson, 10-and-under boy champion."
Other than that, we have very little information regarding these pictures.
