TWO people have been arrested after a woman was stabbed in West Howe. 

The woman was found with serious injuries, but not life threatening, outside a home in Rochester Road, Bournemouth shortly after midnight on Monday, April 29. 

Residents living in the road said they could hear shouting and screaming during the night leading up the emergency services arriving. 

She was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment. 

Following detailed enquiries, led by detectives from BCP criminal investigations department, a woman, 37, and a man, 21 – both from Bournemouth – have been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. 

Detective chief inspector Andy Bell, of BCP CID, said: “This has been a fast-moving investigation and we continue to carry out enquiries into this incident.  

“I would like to repeat my appeal for anyone with information that might assist us to please come forward. 

“There will continue to be an increased policing presence in the vicinity and members of the public can approach officers if they have any information or concerns.”
