THIS could be the greatest day for Gary Barlow fans. Announced today, the popular singer is set to return to the BIC as part of his 2014 solo tour on Wednesday, April 23.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9.30am and are priced at £55.00/£45.00/£35.00.
The former X Factor judge and Take That leader is booked in for a series of arena shows this spring following the release of his first studio album in 14 years, Since I Last Saw You.
When Barlow last toured in 2012, ticket demand was so high that he could have sold out the dates more than six times over. The Since I Saw You Last Tour 2014 will see Gary play some of the biggest venues he has ever played as a solo artist.
“There’ll be a bit of production, but mainly it’ll be me and the band, very music-based. Put it this way, there won't be any 60ft robots, elephants or unicycles,” Gary Barlow told the Daily Echo.
With Take That Gary has released eight number one albums that have collectively sold more than 30 million copies. He has also been party to fifteen No.1 singles, sold seven million concert tickets as well as being the proud recipient of six Ivor Novello Awards.
He was awarded an OBE for his contribution to British music last year following the work he has done with BBC Children In Need and the hugely successful Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert.
Gary Barlow appears at the BIC on April 23. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9.30am, please call BH Live Tickets on 0844 576 3000, book online at bic.co.uk or tickets can be bought from the BIC in person.
