THE team at a rebranded car dealership is already celebrating big success.
Westover moved its Dacia operation into its former Skoda showroom at Corfe Mullen earlier this year after a new home was built at Wallisdown for Skoda.
The Corfe Mullen site was one of the first in the UK to become a standalone showroom for the budget marquee and it has now been ranked among its top-10 UK dealers.
It is one of five in England, with the other five in Scotland and Wales.
Chris Swain, Westover Dacia brand manager, said: “Car buyers want the most from their hard-earned money and Dacia delivers value in spades.
“Dacia’s charms have already attracted more than 11,500 new owners nationally since the beginning of the year – sales figures that many older and more established car manufacturers would envy – so the formula of offering great value combined with good quality is obviously a winning one.
“Our customers are particularly savvy and so they caught on to the benefits of the Dacia offering in no time at all, pushing us to the top of Dacia’s league tables. We deliver a great value vehicle - prices start at just under £6,000 - combined with top notch customer service levels, so it’s really no wonder that the Dacia range has been such a hit in the region.”
Dacia’s range – which starts at £5,995 for its basic car – has now expanded to four vehicles – the Duster, Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Logan MCV.
The Duster remains the most popular model, both for Westover Dacia and for the manufacturer nationally.
