The Saturdays – Living for the weekend
Polydor
IT’S been five years since The Saturdays released their debut album Chasing The Lights.
Since then the girl group - Una Foden, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White – have had mixed fortunes with big hits and almost misses.
This collection, their fourth full studio album, opens with their first number one What About Us, featuring Sean Paul, and is followed by current single, the cute and catchy Disco Love.
The quality is strong and consistent for the first seven tracks, but after last year’s single 30 Days, the songs become more generic and the obligatory ballad You Don’t Have The Right, although pleasant, is quite forgettable.
The Saturdays have bags of charm and style but their identity gets a little lost towards the end of this album.
