UPDATED: Car on fire brings A338 to a standstill
THE Spur Road out of Bournemouth is returning to normal after a car fire brought it to a standstill.
Fire, police and the ambulance service all attended the incident on the northbound A338, just north of Blackwater junction, around half a mile from the Avon Causeway bridge.
Traffic was backed up along the Spur Road heading out of town. The road was cleared and traffic getting back to normal at around 1.20pm.
