- The beach at Steamer Point in Christchurch was sealed off yesterday after a body was found.
- Police and forensics officers cordoned off the area. The body of a man in his thirties was found on Monday night
- A knife has been recovered by officers
- Some of the injuries to the dead man appear to have been caused by a boat propeller
- A boat on the shoreline and a car park near the Captain's Club hotel were both being investigated by the police
- Officers have also been at flats in Drury Road, Alum Chine, and Hamilton Road, Boscombe
- The coroner has been informed and an inquest will be opened tomorrow
- A post-mortem is likely to be carried out later today.
