Police were called after a suspected arson attack at a Poole industrial estate.
Crews were called to a vehicle on fire on the Wessex Trade Centre industrial estate in Mannings Heath, Poole around 12.15am this morning.
One crew from Poole were sent to the address and arrived on scene within 4 minutes to find a vehicle, well alight, parked close to a building.
Crew got to work with one hose reel jet before requesting the assistance of a second appliance which was crewed by retained firefighters from Poole and the Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP) which was sent with a crew from Westbourne.
The vehicle fire had spread to the building and crews used two hose reel jets and one foam line to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the vehicle fire is thought to have been deliberate and police were called to the scene.
Although the vehicle was destroyed by the fire, the crew managed to prevent serious damage being caused to the adjoining building - an industrial unit.
There was slight fire damage to the exterior of the property with some smoke logging inside.
Crews will be returning to the address later today (25th Oct) to liaise with the company and owners of the affected unit.
