Graduates from the School of Tourism and the Business School took to the stage to receive their awards yesterday.
And thousands more successful students will be at the BIC today to celebrate the successful completion of their studies at Bournemouth University.
Two ceremonies yesterday saw the graduation of students from courses including accounting and taxation, events management, sports management and international business communications.
And honorary awards were presented to Dr Karen Arnold, the chief executive of the Enterprise and Skills Company, and Anne Silk, developer of an international contact lens consultancy.
Today it is the turn of students from the School of Design, Engineering and Computing and from the School of Applied Sciences. Dr Peter Barnwell, prominent scientist and engineer, and Purbeck stone expert Treleven Haysom are due to receive honorary degrees.
