A serious crash has closed a major route in the New Forest. 

The A337 is closed at Passford Hill near Lymington.

There is slow traffic due to a serious collision between Boldre Lane and B3054 Marsh Lane.

It happened around 12:45pm near the Passford Railway bridge.

The road is likely to be closed into the evening for investigation and recovery work.

There is currently no word on any injuries or how many vehicles were involved in the collision.
