A WOMAN who police say stole an ornamental duck from a shop is one of two people being sought by police.
CCTV has been released of two people police want to speak to after thefts from shops in north Dorset.
One offence occurred at Moles Country Stores, Gillingham, at around 11.50am on Monday, August 31, police said on Friday.
A man walked into the store, picked up three sets of pruners and walked out without paying.
Another offence happened at Pramacare in Salisbury Street, Blandford, at around 3pm on Wednesday, August 26.
A woman with a pink pram entered the store, picked up an ornamental duck and concealed it in a bag attached to the pram, police said. She then left the store without making any attempt to pay.
PC Natalie Skinner, of North Dorset Police, said: “I am now in a position to release CCTV images of the individuals we would like to speak to in connection with these incidents.
“Anyone who can help identify those pictured should contact police, in confidence, on 101.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101, quoting occurrence number 55150081337.
