Columbia Road is closed after a van caught fire.
Firefighters were sent to Columbia Road, between its junctions with Columbia Gardens and Priestly Road, shortly after 3.30pm.
A Dorset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the van was “well alight” when the crew arrived.

It was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel jet.
A Dorset Police spokesperson confirmed the force was called to the scene by the fire service at 3.38pm.
The spokesperson said the vehicle involved is a white Vauxhall Vivaro Panel van registered to a company in Blandford.
No injuries have been sustained.
