THE body of a man has been found in the sea off Flaghead Chine.
Police, Coastguard and paramedics were called to the Poole beach around 7.45pm on Friday.
A Dorset Police spokesman said the body of a man, believed to be in his 30s, was discovered by a member of the public.
The spokesperson said: "Dorset Police received a report from the ambulance service at 7.45pm yesterday, Friday, April 28, that the body of a man had been found in the water at Flaghead Chine Beach in Poole.
"The body was recovered and the coroner has been notified.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the man’s next of kin have been informed."
A spokesperson from Poole Coastguard said: "The team were paged to Flaghead Chine to assist Dorset Police and the South Western Ambulance Service with the recovery of a body from the sea.
"Our thoughts are with the family at this time."
