A CAR was “destroyed” by fire near a Wimborne pub this morning.
The blazing vehicle, in East Borough, near the Olive Bracnch, was reported to Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue at 8.55pm and a local fire engine was dispatched.
As of 9.30pm crews were still at the scene damping down.
A spokesman described the car as being “100 per cent destroyed by fire”. The cause is unknown.
