Commuters faced long delays on the A31 on Tuesday morning due to a car fire.
One lane was blocked eastbound between Poulner Hill and Stoney Cross.
Lane one of two was blocked around two miles before Stoney Cross.
There were reports of 50 minute delays heading back to Ringwood.
The lane was reopened around 9am.
In a separate incident, a broken-down vehicle on Poulner Hill also partially blocked one of the lanes during the morning rush-hour.
