Toilets at Bournemouth seafront were cordoned off yesterday afternoon following the discovery of a man's body.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said they were called to the Pier Approach area following reports of a sudden death of a man in his 40s.

A cordon was set up by the emergency services as they dealt with the incident.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and efforts are being made to trace the man’s next of kin, the spokesperson said.
