IT’S not just the sun that’s been shining in the sky this week.
The Daily Echo’s Camera Club members have captured some beautiful photos of the so-called Strawberry Moon.
It gets its name because June is the month that wild strawberries start to ripen.
At the end of next month, stargazers will be in for a treat when the full blood moon lunar eclipse occurs on the night of July 27.
It should be visible across the UK, provided it doesn’t get blocked out by the clouds.
It is set to last around two hours, making it the longest lunar eclipse this century.
