A ROMANIAN man suffered a facial fracture after being shoved to the ground in Poole.
The victim, who is in his 40s and speaks limited English, had recently left The Cabin in Poole Quay when he was attacked at around 10pm on Friday, June 29.
He was returning from a trip to an off licence when he became aware of two men behind him.
At the junction of Old Orchard and Prosperous Street, he was punched or pushed from behind. This caused him to fall to the ground and hit his face.
He suffered a facial fracture below his eye. The victim was wearing a red AFC Bournemouth shirt and dark shorts at the time of the assault.
Detective Constable Andy Hale, of Bournemouth CID, said: “This appears to have been an unprovoked assault and we are making a number of enquiries to identify the men responsible, including investigating CCTV opportunities in the area."
