Poole Lifeboat volunteers dealt with a boat fire on Saturday September 28 2019
POOLE lifeboat crews joined Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue to tackle a boat fire near Brownsea Island.
They were called just before 10.30am yesterday when they found a 17ft Boston Whaler on fire on the beach between Pottery Pier and Chard Point.
The fire was extinguished but the cause is not yet known.
