A WOMAN died at a Bournemouth town centre car park on Monday afternoon after a 'suspected medical episode'.
Police and paramedics were called to the Richmond Gardens multi-storey car park at around 2.20pm.
At the height of the incident, there were four ambulances and two police vans outside the car park.
However, despite the efforts of the emergency services, the woman could not be saved.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "Officers received a call at 3.05pm on Monday from the ambulance service requesting assistance as it responded to a report that a woman had suffered a suspected medical episode at the Richmond Hill car park in Bournemouth.
"Officers attended and very sadly the woman was pronounced dead at the scene by the ambulance service.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the woman’s family are aware."
Officials from the South Western Ambulance Service said they were called at 2.20pm.
"We sent various resources to the scene including land ambulance crews and critical care paramedics," the official said.
