POLICE are searching for shoplifters who put an expensive toaster into a handbag at a Bournemouth store last month.

Officers investigating the incident, which happened just before 1.20pm on Wednesday, November 18, have urged anyone with information to come forward.

They say two women walked into Currys PC World at the Mallard Road Retail Park before one picked up a SMEG toaster worth £120.

She then put the appliance into a large handbag and both women walked out without paying.

Sergeant Carmel Ryan, of Dorset Police, this week issued CCTV images of two women police want to talk to as part of their investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the force via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190181222.
