A WOMAN'S body was recovered from the water in Poole on Friday morning.
Police, ambulance, Poole RNLI and HM Coastguard attended the scene at Dorset Lake Shipyard Ltd in Hamworthy on February 28 to a report of a woman who was believed to be in the water.
A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: "Officers attended and a woman was recovered from the water. Very sadly, she was pronounced dead a short time later.
"Her next of kin has been informed and the coroner notified. The death is not being treated as suspicious."
Emergency services arrived on the scene from 11.30am onwards.
A spokeswoman for HM Coastguard said Poole Coastguard Rescue Team and Poole RNLI lifeboat were sent to assist.
The ambulance services was called to the Lake Avenue area at 12.02pm.
