An amber warning for wildfires is in force this weekend due to the hot, dry conditions.
Just two and half months ago, more than 150 firefighters tackled the major fire at Wareham Forest.
It is believed the blaze was started by a disposable barbecue and led to more than two weeks of firefighting, with crews from other services assisting, as well as a helicopter dropping water on the fire.
The damaged area is likely to take decades to fully recover.
