A teenager was rescued after suffering a 'medical episode' on the coast.
Paramedics called for coastguard assistance after receiving a call about the young man who needed medical attention at Durdle Door during the evening. Help was required to get him to an ambulance at the top of the hill for further treatment.
The details of the medical incident on Friday night have not been disclosed.
A spokesman for Lulworth Coastguard Rescue Team said: "The team arrived at Durdle Door and found the teen receiving an assessment from the Lulworth First Responders and paramedics.
"After the assessment, it was decided the boy required further tests in the ambulance, at the top of the hill. UDL Security Ltd were in the area and offered their assistance in transporting the teenager back up the track, to the waiting ambulance.
"With the casualty now in the land ambulance at the top of the hill and assistance no longer required, the team were stood down, and returned to station."
