A BODY has been found in Dorset following an appeal to find a missing cyclist.
Police have confirmed that officers searching for cyclist, Martin Turner have found a body.
The 54-year-old from Totton was last seen by his family yesterday morning at 8am.
He left his home address to go on a cycle ride and had not returned since or made contact.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "It’s with regret we have to inform you that officers searching for missing man Martin Turner, have this afternoon, found a body in Dorset.
"Formal identification has yet to take place but his next of kin have been informed."
The spokesperson thanked members of the public for sharing their earlier appeal.
