A CAR pulling a trailer with a billboard was completely destroyed in a fire in East Dorset.
Firefighters from Ferndown rushed to Ham Lane at 8.26am on Thursday, October 8, to reports of the vehicle fire.
The road was closed by police while the incident was dealt with and to allow the car to be recovered.
A spokeswoman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters found a car well alight on arrival, which was extinguished using two hose reel jets and a main line.
"The car was fully destroyed by fire. The stop came at 9am."
A Dorset Police spokeswoman added: "We were called at 8.30am on Thursday, October 8, by the fire service to a report of a car on fire on Ham Lane in Ferndown.
"Officers were in attendance to assist with road closures. Recovery was requested for the vehicle."
