We are delighted to welcome these beautiful babies who are bringing joy to their proud parents and siblings during the coronavirus pandemic and beyond.

These five cute newborns came into the world in Dorset in very unprecedented circumstances.

After just 18 minutes labour, mother of five boys Samantha Gillingham welcomed her first girl Porsha Suzanne Patrica Mabey at Poole on November 19, weighing 6lb 2 oz, sister to Kyeron, 13, Ruben, 9, Caison, 7, Lennie, 5 and Hunter aged 17 months.

Also, big hello to: Ivy Mallandain, a 7lbs 2oz daughter for Daisy and Jack from New Milton. She was born in Southampton on November 14.

Ellie Scoble, born on January 3 at Poole, to Tj and Cheri, weighing 7lb 1 oz, a little sister for Noah and Isabella.

Baby Caelan Edward Smith, born August 25 at St Mary's, Poole to Jade, weighing 6lb 14 oz a little brother for Kias Elijah Smith.

And, first baby Mabel-Rein Rebecca Dewey who was born on December 12 at St Mary's, weighing 6lb 13 oz to Kimberley Louise Joyce.
