THE Southbourne Coastguard was called to help the ambulance crew with a medical incident at Bournemouth Pier early on Saturday morning.
The crew were called shortly before 3am to help the casualty.
A spokesperson for Southbourne Coastguard said: “Tasked at 2.46am by the joint rescue coordination centre to assist the ambulance service with a medical incident near Bournemouth Pier.
“Once the casualty was confirmed in the care of the ambulance service we stood down and returned to our station.”
