PARKING will be prohibited on a Bournemouth road at the end of the month to allow for fibre installation works.
BCP Council confirmed in a public notice the restrictions would come into place on Monday, lasting until the beginning of February.
The notice said: “No parking, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time.
“Northern side of Marlborough Road from its junction with Durley Chine Road to the western property boundary of number nine.”
The council said CityFibre would be carrying out fibre installation works.
The anticipated dates state the work starts on January 24 and will last until February 4.
Full emergency services access will remain, as will access to properties.
The notice added: “These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
“Restrictions may be in effect under this order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the secretary of state.
“The council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.”
