FIRST aid attention was required after a person suffered a medical episode near Bournemouth Pier on Friday evening.
Southbourne Coastguard says it was tasked at 7.33pm on Friday, April 1, by the joint rescue coordination centre following reports that a casualty was suffering from a medical episode by the beachfront.
Once on scene, first aid was administered by the coastguard team.
A spokesperson said: “Once the casualty had been assessed and reassured, they made their own way to Bournemouth Hospital for further investigations.”
After ensuring the casualty was well enough to travel, the team stood down and returned to the station.
