A MEDICAL emergency closed a section of Durley Chine Beach on Sunday afternoon.
An air ambulance along with several road ambulance vehicles arrived on site at around 5pm on Sunday, August 21, as well as members of the RNLI and BCP Council seafront team.

A cordon was in place next to the Harvester restaurant blocking access to the promenade towards the West Cliff direction.
It is unclear what the medical incident is.
The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance helicopter took off from the beach at around 5.50pm.
