A TRACTOR was completed destroyed in a fire which spread to a field and hedge off the A31.
Firefighters rushed to tackle the blaze near Corfe Mullen opposite the Starbucks coffee shop on Monday afternoon.
Two fire engines from Poole and one from Wimborne attended following reports of the incident at 1pm on August 29.
A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said the tractor was completely destroyed by the fire.
The blaze had spread from the vehicle to a field and hedge, covering an area of 25 metres by 10 metres.
Crews extinguished the flames using six hose reel jets.
The stop message was received at 1.31pm and the firefighters left the scene at 2.20pm.
