A van fire spread to heathland after bursting into flames on the A338 Spur Road on Tuesday.
Police and fire services attended a van fire near the Ashley Heath Roundabout shortly after 8am.
A one lane closure was put in place whilst fire crews from Ferndown and Ringwood tackled the blaze.

A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received a call at 8.19am this morning about a vehicle fire on Ashley Heath Roundabout.
"Crews from Ferndown and Ringwood attended the incident which involved a van well alight, spreading to nearby heathland.
"Two breathing apparatus wearers extinguished the fire using a main line and hose reel jet. Our stop came at 9.45am and the incident was handed over to Dorset Police."
Dorset Police have confirmed that the van, a long wheel base VW Crafter, was “completely destroyed” by the fire.
A spokesperson for the Dorset Police said: “At 08.28 Dorset Police received a call regarding a vehicle fire on the northbound A338 just prior to the Ashley Heath roundabout.
“Two pumps, one from Ringwood and one from Ferndown, attended to the vehicle, which was a long wheel base VW Crafter registered to an Eastleigh company."
The van has now been recovered and the lane was re-opened at 11.10am.
