A BODY has been found in the search for a missing man from Bournemouth.
Christopher Brooks, aged 35, was last seen at around 11.30pm on Tuesday, October 4.
Police said following enquiries, the body of a man was located near Riverside Avenue during the morning of Friday, October 7.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but the body is believed to be that of Christopher Brooks.
His family has been informed and the coroner notified.
Police said his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “While formal identification has not yet taken place, the body is believed to be that of Christopher Brooks and his family has been informed.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and HM Coroner has been notified.”
The spokesperson added: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Christopher at this very difficult time.”
