FIREFIGHTERS tackled a yacht blaze in Wareham on Easter Monday.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service received ‘multiple’ calls alerting them to the incident shortly before 4pm.
It was reported that a yacht was alight in Barnhill Road, with callers able to see a smoke plume building.
Crews from Wareham and Poole fire stations attended.
On arrival, firefighters extinguished the blaze with two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one main line.
