A BOURNEMOUTH gym was temporarily closed today after a medical incident.
An air ambulance landed near the BH Live Sir David English leisure centre at around 10.40 this morning.
In a post on social media from BH Live, it read: "The centre is temporarily closed today (Monday 29 April) until 1pm.
"We apologise for any inconvenience.
"For alternative classes and gyms, please visit Littledown, Queen's Park, Pelhams, Corfe Mullen or Stokewood Leisure Centre.
"Visit the BH Live Active website or app for further information on timetables, opening times, and facilities."
The centre reopened to visitors at 11pm shortly after the air ambulance took off back to its headquarters in Henstridge.
A spokesperson for BH Live said; "This was in response to a medical incident in the gym.
"Our team responded quickly, emergency services attended to the individual and the centre reopened soon after 11am."
