IT was the wedding of the year but now the nuptials of William and Kate have been immortalised in straw.

The royal couple are one of 35 creations in the annual scarecrow festival at Bisterne that range from hilarious to spooky.

Hundreds of people have been to the village near Ringwood that is staging the festival for the 10th year.

Bisterne resident Norman Light said: “A decade of scarecrows has given us all a great deal of fun.

“The whole idea of the Bisterne scarecrows is for everyone to have a lot of laughter and happiness and to bring the community together.
