FIRE crews tackled a tractor blaze near an oil field in Purbeck.
The fire, which involved a large tractor and gorse-clearing trailer, happened at heathland near the Wytch Farm site, a Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Control spokesperson confirmed.
Three fire engines were at the scene after the call came in at around 3.20pm.
An eyewitness reported seeing a lot of black smoke in the area.
The fire, which also involved an area of gorse, was extinguished using a compressed air foam system.
