Zachary Spicer, 10, said: “My favourite thing about the school is just that you get noticed a lot because we have small classes. They really like to let you shine. My favourite subject is ICT and one day I would like to be an artist or a lawyer.”
Emily Keats, 10, said: “We have very nice teachers, who are very good. My favourite subject is English and I like playing the cello, which my mum taught me, so I would like to be part of the London Symphony Orchestra one day.”
Charlie Wagstaff, parent of one daughter at the school, said: “It’s a small family environment and I was a Buckholme Towers student myself, so it’s nice to come back and have that connection to the school.”
Louise Evans, parent of one son at the school, said: “It has small classes and offers each pupil an education which is individual to them and is tailored to their needs. The staff are also brilliant and the environment is very happy.”
Judy Hook, deputy head, said: “The staff and the size of the school is great. Every teacher knows all of the students and they work to get the best out of them, to help them to thrive.”
Graeme Caldwell, Year 3 teacher and head of sport for boys, said: “The best things about the school are the children, parents and staff. The children are always keen and motivated to learn.”
