CHERRIES are rumoured to be "confident" of completing a double deal for Jermain Defoe and John Terry this summer.
The Gambling Times claims Cherries are in "pole position" to bring in Sunderland striker Defoe, who enjoyed a hugely successful loan spell at Dean Court early in his career and reportedly has a clause in his contract which would allow him to depart for free.
Defoe is "keen" on a return to Dean Court, according to the report, which adds that the Dorset club are ready to offer Chelsea defender John Terry a two-year deal.
Terry has confirmed he will leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season and the Gambling Times says "Cherries believe they are well placed" to swoop for the former England international.
The 36-year-old's contract is due to expire this summer, meaning he would be available on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, BBC Sport claims Max Gradel wishes to leave Cherries at the end of the season.
The Ivorian winger has not started a Premier League game this campaign.
