WIMBORNE under-15s won a thrilling final 24-22 against Devizes to claim the Dorset & Wilts Cup.
Wimborne came into the contest unbeaten all season in the competition, while Devizes had only lost once.
Wimborne took the lead when Spencer Budding weaved his way to the try line, although that proved to be their only score of the half, as Devizes led 7-5 at the break.
That lead was extended to 12-5, before Wimborne hit back.
Theo Brookes dabbed down, only for the advantage to soon be stretched out to 19-10.
Wimborne dug deep, with a lineout and maul pushing Eddie Pitchers to the line, with Huw Foulkes-Jones adding the extras to make it a one score game.
A successful Devizes penalty pushed them 22-17 ahead, leaving Wimborne needing a try in the dying minutes to level matters.
But, from deep in their own half, they managed exactly that. Harry Bunting, fresh from his try for Poole Grammar during their National Bowl final at Saracens earlier in the week, charged through to cross the whitewash.
The final kick of the game came from the boot of Jack Hammon, who held his nerve to fire through the posts and secure the victory, sparking wild celebrations.
