POOLE Pirates have taken an early decision to postpone Wednesday night’s meeting against Plymouth Gladiators.
Already rearranged once, Pirates have opted to call off the fixture again at Wimborne Road, on the basis of wet weather forecast.
The BSN Series fixture has been swiftly rearranged, to now take place on Wednesday, May 22.
Pirates promoter Danny Ford said on Tuesday afternoon: “The forecast over the next 36 hours or so is far from favourable and in consultation with the Plymouth management, we have agreed to reschedule the meeting.”
Pirates are now next due in action on Friday, away at Edinburgh Monarchs in the second leg of their Knockout Cup quarter-final, defending a 49-40 lead.
Poole’s next home fixture is against Workington Comets, on Wednesday, May 15.
