PIRATES promoter Matt Ford wants stuttering spearhead Krzysztof Kasprzak to “step up to the plate”.
The Pole has made an indifferent start to his fourth spell at the club and Ford says he needs to up his game.
Kasprzak has banked 43 paid 47 points from 28 rides in competitive meetings, a modest return after Ford tipped him to top the SGB Premiership averages.
And the Poole chief has urged his number one to rediscover his race-winning touch ahead of tomorrow's trip to Rye House (7pm).
Ford told the Daily Echo: “It is still early days but KK hasn’t got going yet. We need the real Krzysztof Kasprzak to stand up because he is better than he is showing at the moment.
“He should really be getting a minimum of nine or 10 points every meeting.
“I honestly thought this could be his year and I am convinced it still could be. We need him to step up to the plate and help the rest of his team.”
