POLICE are investigating a shoplifting incident in New Milton.
A CCTV image of a person police would like to identify has been released to the public.
The incident involved the theft of electric toothbrushes, which occurred between 4.30pm and 4.35pm on Saturday, May 11.
The man is described as aged in his 50s, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, wearing a black cap and a grey hooded top and carrying a blue Aldi bag.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
