THIS is the first picture released of a man who was killed and dismembered in Boscombe.
Simon Shotton’s remains were found dumped around the Boscombe area last summer.
Debbie Pereira and Benjamin Atkins are accused of his murder and are currently facing trial at Winchester Crown Court.
Prosecutors allege the couple murdered Mr Shotton, 49, in their flat in Aylesbury Road, Boscombe, on August 18, 2023.
They are then accused of dismembering him and disposing of his body parts across Boscombe Chine Gardens, Manor Steps zig zag and Walpole Lane.
Mr Shotton’s arms were found in their garden on September 2 – the day after they were arrested.
Atkins has admitted to charges of perverting the course of justice, and preventing the burial of a corpse, but denies murder.
Pereira denies perverting the course of justice, preventing the burial of a corpse, and murder.
The trial continues.
