X FACTOR finalists Union J are set to send hearts aflutter at V nightclub with a special appearance at student night Revision on Monday.
Union J finished fourth in the ITV1 singing contest and were mentored by Louis Walsh.
Last month the four piece revealed that they were on the verge of signing a record contract with Sony. Josh Cuthbert, Jamie ‘JJ’ Hamblett, Jaymi Hensley and George Shelley announced that they were closing in on a record deal on ITV1’s Daybreak.
Jaymi said: “Obviously when we came out of the show the dream was to get a record deal and we’re going to Sony today to sort out all the contracts and stuff.”
While the band hasn’t currently released any material, recent live performances have included cover versions of Taylor Swift’s Love Story, Carly Rae Jepson’s Call Me Maybe, Beyonce’s Sweet Dreams and Abba’s Winner Takes It All.
Union J is hotly tipped to follow in the footsteps of JLS and One Direction to become the UK’s next big boyband.
After the Bournemouth show, the boys immediately begin the X Factor Live arena tour.
This features the top seven finalists performing on the tour, which are James Arthur, Ella Henderson, Jahmene Douglas, Rylan Clark, Christopher Maloney and groups Union J and District3.
On being told they were part of the tour, Union J said: “We cannot wait to go on the X Factor Live Tour and meet all the fans and thank them personally for all their support.”
Sadly there’s no date for Bournemouth as yet, so fans should make the most of Monday’s show at V.
