PERFORMING all her hits from the 90s including Promise Me, Holding On and Woman to Woman, Beverley Craven, is on the road, playing a handful of small and intimate venues including the Tivoli on April 11.
With a pared-down acoustic line up and stripped-back production, she sings candidly about her experience of breast cancer, her recent divorce and current affairs.
Born in Sri Lanka in 1963, Craven and her family moved to Hertfordshire when she was two. Her formative years were spent learning classical piano.
After leaving school Beverley ventured to London where she wrote her own songs and demos – the rest is history and is in her new autobiography Truth be Told.
