GOLDEN voiced pop star Leona Lewis is all set to perform at the BIC tonight.

The exhaustive UK tour is her first for three years and Leona assures 24Seven that the Bournemouth audience is in for a surprise.

“It’s my first visit to Bournemouth. Going on the reactions of the public so far on the tour, the show is not what most fans will be expecting,” says Leona.

“We have a 10 piece band and a string quartet and it’s very beautiful and visual.

“We have a great creative director working on the show.

“People are really going to enjoy it and have a good time,” added Leona, 28.

Since winning the X Factor in 2006, Leona has risen to global fame.

Her 2010 Labyrinth Tour won her critical acclaim as well as reinforcing her position as one of the most successful British female artists today.

She’s broken countless sales records and smashed chart records universally.

Last year saw Leona follow up her first two number one albums Spirit and Echo, with her third studio album Glassheart.

“It’ll be me and the band rocking it out.

“It’s always good to have the support of a great band on stage and it’s cool to collaborate on stage.

“The set list is equally split from all three albums.

“People can expect a spectrum of all the albums and it’s a real journey through my music.”
