DENNIS Loccorriere, instantly recognisable as the voice of Dr Hook, is back touring the UK on a major solo acoustic tour that reaches the Tivoli on June 22.
The silky smooth vocal maestro behind such hits as Sylvia’s Mother, A Little Bit More and When You’re In Love With A Beautiful Woman, is one of those singers with a reputation for winning over audiences.
As lead vocalist with the mega-successful Dr Hook he was the recipient of more than 60 gold and platinum albums and gained number ones in 42 different countries.
Since the band split up 30 years ago Dennis has gone on to enjoy a successful solo career.
He has written for and recorded with people like Bob Dylan, Southside Johnny, Crystal Gayle, BJ Thomas, Olivia Newton John, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.
