- FEARNE hold the launch for their sophomore album, Songs on Postcards, at Centre Stage next Thursday. The 11-track album, which was two years in the making, is the follow-up to their 2007 release Colour in a World of Grey. Their show at Centre Stage will be an extra special one for Fearne as the venue, which the band have been playing since the start, is set to close its doors in September. - INDIE/soul singer Shona Lowe has released her debut EP. Falling is available as a free digital download and has been described as ‘acoustic pop with some Latino twists’ and features four tracks.
- A HOST of local bands are set to descend on Fawcetts Field in New Milton next Saturday for the Freshfields Festival. Acts lined-up for the show include Lady Winwood's Maggot, The Decatonics, Willowen, Harpin’ On, The Bonsai Pirates and Hannah Robinson. Details at newmilton festival.co.uk
